Jenny is an internationally acclaimed pavement artist, muralist, painter, and 3D illusionist, known for blending creativity with eco-activism. Her passion for environmental issues has deeply influenced both her work and her lifestyle, leading her to embrace veganism. With a remarkable career that spans multiple mediums, she has become Australia’s most highly awarded pavement artist, gaining global recognition for her skill in creating trompe l’oeil (trick-of-the-eye) murals, 3D pavement art, portraits, and sculptures.
Jenny’s career highlights include having her works featured along side other outstanding Australian artists in the short film ‘Climarte explained’ at the Climate Week event in New York, and holding a solo exhibition of studio work at the Gosford regional Gallery. Her work has been featured in prestigious events like the Dubai Canvas, and she was a guest artist at the Sarasota Chalk Festival in Florida, working alongside Master Artist Kurt Wenner. In 2012 Jenny traveled Grazie de Curtatone, in Italy to represent Australia in the world oldest Pavement art competition, where she became Australia’s first acknowledged Madonnari. The documentary of that journey, ‘CHALK: AN AUSTRALIAN PERSPECTIVE’ was screened on SBS in 2014, and can now be found on YouTube.
Beyond her achievements in the art world, Jenny is a dedicated teacher and environmental advocate, running various ‘Art in Nature’ workshops to inspire new generations to connect with our natural world through observation and art. She has spent many years amongst dedicated environmentalist promoting the vegan diet as the best way to preserve the life we share this planet with, mitigate climate change, and free up land, waterways and oceans for regrowing and repair.
Because it’s so hard to pick my favourite I just made one up today- I’m procrastinating on finishing the latest murals. So this is my current favourite because it’s fresh and packed with brain powering protein and freshly grown and picked greens. It’s a variation on falafel I guess, but simply eaten wrapped in lettuce and dipped in a Mayonnaise and lemon Myrtle Sweet Chilli sauce.
