I never really liked to cook before. To me, cooking was a laborious chore in exchange for the pointlessly short enjoyment of eating.

That is until I became a vegan! Only then did I care to create the foods I craved, as I was motivated to do what’s right by the animals, and was equally equipped with a newfound enthusiasm to play around with culinary possibilities.

Slowly, I started to enjoy the preparations, and cooking no longer felt like an obligation. The simple acts of whisking, slicing, mixing, and measuring; they all play their parts and as you become more immersed in the process, you feel a deeper sense of appreciation to everything around you.

This is why I started a cooking channel on YouTube, and as my inspirations change from day to day it makes for an eclectic range of recipes to explore.

Come along for these adventures I would really love for you to join me :)

Peach Cheesecake

A no bake, no blend recipe that doesn’t require cashews or other nuts, and has no coconutty taste. It's a vegan cheesecake that tastes like cheesecake! Also, the jelly layer is coloured and flavoured naturally with real peach, so artificial food colourings and such are not needed at all. Click here to watch the recipe video.

Cheater’s Tortellini

The beauty of this dish is that you can make many different fillings, try: vegan mince instead of fennel for a meatier texture; adding shredded vegan mozzarella or feta cheese; or, combining with leftover veggies from last night's dinner. To watch the video recipe, click here.

Crème Caramel Flan

A light, silky, and creamy custard, gently set with a hint of vanilla, infused in a rich caramel sauce. This no-fuss recipe requires no steaming or baking or even the hassle of thermometers. It is easy and painless but still sets beautifully to create a luscious dessert. To watch the video recipe, click here.
