Chocolate Chip and Hazelnut Oat Cookies

These healthy cookies are the perfect mid-afternoon treat. We dare you to stop at one!

Ingredients:

  • 1 large Banana
  • 1 cup Oats
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Ground Flaxseed
  • 4 tablespoons of Almond Milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped Hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup Vegan Chocolate Chips

Method:

  1. Mix Ground Flaxseed with Almond Milk and leave to sit for 15 minutes.

2. Preheat oven to 175C.

3. Mash the banana and then add Flaxseed Mixture, Oats, Salt, Hazelnuts and Chocolate Chips.

4. Mix till well combined. Form 2 tablespoon mounds of the dough onto a lined cookie sheet.

5. Bake for 15 minutes and then flip cookies over and bake for a further 15 minutes.

6. Leave to cool on tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool.
