S-O-S Free Guacamole
Enjoy a fresh and flavourful twist on classic guacamole with this S-O-S free recipe (salt, oil & sugar free). Creamy avocados blend with zesty lime, aromatic basil, and a hint of cumin for a deliciously wholesome dip that's perfect for sharing, or use as a salad dressing. Serves (makes) about 2 cups | Prep time: 5-10 mins | Cooking time: 0 mins
INGREDIENTS
- 3 small avocados, mashed
- 3 Tbsp lime juice
- Quarter red onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup basil leaves, chopped
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced.
- 1/2 tsp cumin
METHOD
- Chop the onion and basil. Mince the garlic.
- Mash the avocados in a bowl then add all other ingredients. Combine well.
- Serve as a dip with vegetable sticks or as a salad dressing or on cooked vegies.
