Kiwi & Strawberry Porridge
A bowl of porridge can be so warming during the cooler months, but it's great to have all year round. One of the best things about porridge is how much variety you can create simply by swapping up toppings.
Serves 1 | Prep time: 5 mins | Cooking time: 5 mins
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup fortified soy milk
- 2 tsp ground flaxseed
- 1 kiwi fruit, sliced
- A few fresh strawberries, sliced
- Place oats and soy milk in a pot over medium heat.
- Stir and heat until porridge starts to thicken. (Alternatively, microwave for a couple of minutes in your breakfast bowl.)
- Once it has reached a desirable consistency pour into a bowl and top with ground flaxseed and fresh fruit.
