The classic Aussie sanger (sandwich) gets a tex-mex twist.
Serves 1 | Prep time: 2 mins | Cooking time: 5 mins
- 1/2 cup refried beans
- 2 slices wholemeal bread
- 1/2 tomato, sliced
- vegan cheese, sliced or shredded (optional)
- 2 tsp sweet chilli sauce
- Spread refried beans on one side of wholemeal bread and cover with sliced tomato and vegan cheese.
- Spread sweet chilli sauce on the other slice of bread, and close the sandwich.
- Cook in a sandwich press or jaffle maker until the bread is browned.
