Homemade Vegan Choc Tops

These homemade Vegan versions of an absolute movie theatre classic are so easy to make. Try out this simple recipe for Affogato and Cookies & Cream Choc Tops!

Ingredients:

  • 1 litre Vegan Vanilla Ice Cream
  • Vegan Ice Cream Cones
  • 200g Vegan Dark Chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons Melted Coconut Oil
  • 200g Vegan White Chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons Melted Coconut Oil

For Affogato Flavoring:

1 tablespoon Instant Coffee Powder

1 tablespoon Hot Water

For Cookies and Cream:

1/2 a packet of Oreos, crushed into pieces

Method:

  1. Divide your 1litre of Vanilla Ice Cream into half.
  2. Combine Instant Coffee Powder with Hot Water and stir to dissolve. Once dissolved, mix this into your first half of Vanilla Ice Cream until you have Coffee Ice Cream. Transfer to a container and leave in the freezer for 45 minutes to set up.
  3. To your other half of the Vanilla Ice Cream, fold in your crushed Oreos and transfer to a container and leave in the freezer for 45 minutes to set up.
  4. Before removing Ice Creams from the freezer, melt Vegan Dark Chocolate with 2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil till smooth. Repeat the same with the Vegan White Chocolate and 2 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil.
  5. Once Ice Creams have firmed up, scoop onto Vegan Ice Cream Cones.
  6. Immediately dip the Coffee Cones in the Dark Chocolate mixture and sprinkle with garnishes or decorations of your liking.
  7. Repeat this process with the Oreo Ice Cream, dipping it in the White Chocolate mixture and garnishing with more crushed Oreo.
  8. Enjoy immediately or leave in the freezer to enjoy later!
