When you can, try to have honest and open discussions about why you are trying veganism and not make up excuses. Try not to shy away from the reasons you are doing this. Let your friends and family know what lead to you this, explain the challenge you are doing and how you are feeling about it. You don’t have to have a big conversation about it and have it turn into something stressful. Try to keep the conversation casual and you’ll find people a lot more receptive and generally less phased by the change.
