Nick with Little Prince - a rescued lamb | Nick PerryNick is an active and robust year 10 student from Melbourne. He just turned 16 and has two older brothers - all three of them are over 183cms tall, of strong build and vegans since birth. Nick is full of life, mirth and loves hanging out with his friends. Q: What made you become vegan and when? Nick: My parents raised me as a vegan, and I couldn't ask for anything more! I'm very happy with my veganism. Q: What’s your favorite meal? Nick: Pasta with tomato sauce and Nutmeat! Q: What do you cook the best, do you have a favorite recipe you’d like to share? Nick: Uh...I’m not really one to cook but I can do baked beans with Vegemite toast :) Q: Are many of your family and friends vegans? Nick: Of course, my whole immediate family is. Q: What makes you happy? Nick: Being with my friends, listening to music, being inside when it's raining outside, being with my family and a whole lot more. Q: What do you do to relax and unwind? Nick: I really like listening to thunderstorms. Q: How do you keep fit? Nick: Running :) Q: Do you have a favorite movie/book/blog that inspired you that you’d like to share? Nick: I love Stephen King novels, and playing video games. Also, as far as movies go, I like Christian Bale. Q: Do you have a favorite restaurant? Nick: Not really, anything will do. Although I like Chinese food, stir fries are the best! Q: What’s been the best part of being a vegan? Nick: The knowledge that I am not only saving animals lives, but a lot of people whom I interact with find out about some of my ideals and how easy it is to be a vegan. Q: Have you found any difficulties being vegan? Nick: Nothing really major. Not eating fast food is more of a benefit :)
