I haven’t come close to number one, but ‘Mom Kelly’ knew what she was talking about with oats for breakfast! This is without doubt my favorite breakfast. Oats are a super nutritious wholegrain that helps lower cholesterol re-absorption. A bowl of porridge is a great way to start your day and keep you satisfied until lunch time. Boil water then slowly stir in the oats. Bring back to the boil, stir once, then immediately reduce fire to low, cover with lid and let simmer for a few minutes.
